Beautycounter has not officially shared the reason for discontinuing Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil.
An update on the brand: Beautycounter paused operations in 2024. But they appear to have been relaunched under a new name, Counter, in 2025. Under this new brand, they have a product named “Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil,” which seems to have very similar ingredients. But since the brand has not officially announced anything, we don’t know whether this is the same product.
